I am pleased to introduce two new blog categories that are added to The Inspired Bee. The first is "Live", which will showcase my short stories. I have always been passionate about nature. My favorite saying is "nature is my favorite author." In nature, I discover valuable life lessons. As a writer, I am dedicated to translating my observations into words that inspire positive growth and action in others.

A couple of years ago, I published my first children's e-book titled "Heart of a Dandelion". It is a story of how a seed of love overcomes obstacles to grow and spread. I have many more stories to tell and my blog would be the perfect place to share them. My goals for posts in this category are:

  • To connect your child with nature:

Nature surrounds us, but we can often feel detached from it. Our fast paced lives leave us with little opportunity to explore and connect with the world around us. I believe that by highlighting nature's offerings, we invite our children to stop, observe, and appreciate what distractions often lead them to miss.

  • To encourage conversation:

Written words can spark dialogue and serve as talking points for more in depth conversations. I draw inspiration from both nature and interactions among people. Through my stories, I aim to convey uplifting messages from nature that encourage meaningful discussions between you and your child.

  • To promote awareness of self and others:

Each character in the stories possesses a gift and a purpose which they use to help others recognize and embrace their own.

  • To provide a relatable frame of reference:

Nature will serve as a familiar storyteller whose messages I hope will help your child embrace their own experience and expand their perspective and understanding.

Although my target audience are young readers, the messages within the stories are meant for everyone. May they inspire both you and your child to be present and live in the moment.
